On November 12, 2025, Professor Dr. Atwar Bajari, M.Si., a distinguished professor from the Communication Studies Program at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), was officially elected as the President of the Indonesian Communication Scholars Association (ISKI) for the 2025–2029 term.
The election of Professor Atwar Bajari represents recognition of his academic and professional contributions to the field of communication. He is a professor of Communication Studies at Unpad who has been actively engaged in research on media, technology, and society. Before assuming this position, he also served as a Board of Trustees member of the Association of Indonesian Communication Higher Education Institutions (ASPIKOM).
This appointment highlights Professor Atwar’s role in strengthening academic networks and professional communication organizations in Indonesia. It also reflects acknowledgment of his dedication and contribution to advancing the study and practice of communication, both in academic and professional contexts.
