The Academic Community of Communication Science Study Programme visited Sungkyunkwan University earlier this week on Monday, 21 October 2024. This visit was done to establish a cooperation with Korea which was made official through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding(MoA). This signing was represented by Unpad’s Communication Science Faculty Team namely Prof. Dr. Atwar Bajari, Drs., M.Sc. as Vice Dean 1, Dr. Jenny Ratna Suminar, Dra., M.Sc. as Vice Dean 2, and Dr. Nindi Aristi, M.Comn. as the Head of Communication Science Study Programme, as well as the SKKU Team namely the Dean of Social Science, Prof. Kweon, Prof. Cha, and Prof. Tae.
This MoU signing marked a real step in which the Communication Science Study Programme, especially the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) has gotten assurance that Communication Science students can be accepted into SKKU in 2025. The Communication Science Study Programme/Faculty will be doing a thorough and strict internal selection process. The reason being to filter students who are actually worthy to study for one to two semesters in SKKU.
With this cooperation, Universitas Padjadjaran’s Communication Science Study Program’s network is now expanded and more global. The realisation of this step was legitimately done by the Communication Science Study Program to establish international cooperation. We hope that from this point on, this relation can be well maintained and produce benefits for both sides. (Ed)
