Every year on July 14, Indonesia commemorates National Tax Day. This moment serves as a reminder to recognize the vital role of taxes in the life of a nation.
Unfortunately, many still view taxes as a burden. In reality, tax awareness reflects our concern for the country. The greater the public participation in paying taxes, the more likely Indonesia is to grow into a self-reliant and prosperous nation.
As Communication Science students, let us reshape how we view taxes. By understanding, promoting, and educating others about the importance of taxes from our time in university, we help strengthen the foundation for a better and more prosperous Indonesia.
