Every February 4, the world commemorates World Cancer Day as a momentum to raise awareness of the dangers of cancer and the importance of prevention. Cancer is still one of the highest causes of death in the world, including in Indonesia. Unhealthy lifestyles, exposure to harmful substances, and lack of early detection are the main factors that increase the risk of this disease. Therefore, it is important for us to adopt a healthy lifestyle, such as eating nutritious food, exercising regularly, and avoiding cigarettes and alcohol. This year’s World Cancer Day is not only a commemoration, but also an invitation for all of us to care more about the health of ourselves and those around us. (Ed)
