The inauguration ceremony was held on Thursday, 4 December 2025, at Graha Sanusi Hardjadinata, Iwa Koesoemasoemantri Campus of Universitas Padjadjaran, Jalan Dipati Ukur No. 35, Bandung. The event was also broadcast live through the official YouTube channel of Universitas Padjadjaran from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. WIB. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Dadang Rahmat Hidayat was inaugurated along with six other professors from three faculties at Universitas Padjadjaran.
This achievement represents a form of recognition for his dedication, integrity, and significant contributions to the development of journalism and media studies. Through numerous scholarly works, research activities, and community service, Prof. Dr. Dadang Rahmat Hidayat has made substantial contributions to the advancement of the discipline of communication studies.
