Universitas Padjadjaran has officially inaugurated the Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences (Fikom) for the 2026–2030 term. The inauguration was held as part of the Inauguration and Handover Ceremony of Deans of Faculties and Schools within Universitas Padjadjaran, led by the Rector of Universitas Padjadjaran, Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita.
The ceremony took place at the Multipurpose Hall, 4th Floor of Building 2, Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, and was attended by members of the university leadership, deans, and the academic community. On this occasion, Dr. Nindi Aristi, S.Sos., M.Comn. was officially inaugurated as Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran, for the 2026–2030 term.
For the academic community of the Communication Science Study Program, this inauguration marked a special moment. Dr. Nindi Aristi is a lecturer in Communication Science who has long contributed to academic development within Fikom Unpad. In addition to her active involvement in teaching and research, she has previously served as Head of the Communication Science Study Program, during which she achieved various milestones in strengthening academic governance and improving the quality of learning.
This inauguration signifies the beginning of a new leadership period at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, with the expectation of further strengthening synergy between the faculty and study programs in responding to the dynamic development of communication studies and the global challenges of higher education.
On the same occasion, Universitas Padjadjaran also expressed its gratitude and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Dadang Rahmat Hidayat, S.Sos., M.H., M.Si., for his dedication and service during his tenure as Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences. The contributions and achievements attained under his leadership have become an important foundation for the continued development of Fikom Unpad.
With the inauguration of Dr. Nindi Aristi as the new dean, the Communication Science Study Program hopes that this leadership will foster a spirit of collaboration, innovation, and sustainable enhancement of academic quality.
