Wednesday, the 18th of September 2024 marks the 64th Dies Natalis of Universitas Padjadjaran’s Communication Science Faculty. On this wonderful occasion, the Communication Science Study Programme would like to congratulate our beloved alma mater for a prideful 64 years. Throughout its journey, Universitas Padjadjaran’s Communication Science Faculty has given opportunities for many Indonesian youths to study areas of communication and birthed many brilliant and professional scholars and researchers.

The theme for the 64th Dies Natalis is “Excel, Useful, and Global.” These three things make up a projection of a person who has gone through the learning and development process in Universitas Padjadjaran’s Communication Science Faculty. Therefore, students are expected to integrate these three values and realise it at the end of their journey in Universitas Padjadjaran’s Communication Science Faculty, so that they can dive into society as excellent human beings who can help change the nation and the world for the better.

The Communication Science Study Programme also adorned the commemoration of the 64th Dies Natalis with achievements. One of which is brought by Dava Habil Dian Laksamana, a class of 2023 Communication Science student, who won 1st Place for Vocal Solo in the Unpad Nyeni competition. Dava with two other class of 2023 Communication Science students, Jenifer Febiola Siagian and Aisha Sulthana Akbarine Qathrunada, also won 2nd Place for Vocal Group in the same competition as part of the VG Fikom SGSK (Vocal Group Fikom So Good & So Kind) vocal group. Because of that, Dava, Jenifer, and Aisha performed at Dies Natalis with their vocal group.
