On January 30th, 2024, the Communication Science Study Programme held a workshop to improve and develop the programme’s curriculum at Hay Hotel, Bandung. This workshop focused on the theme “Strengthening Curriculum Evaluation towards Society 5.0 Era”. The workshop was initiated by the head of Communication Science Study Programme, Dr. Nindi Aristi, M.Comn, and featured a guest speaker, Annisa M.P Rochadiat, Ph.D., who experienced as an instructor responsible for the curriculum at Wayne State University.
The workshop was held to evaluate the existing curriculum while addressing the challenges of meeting the needs of the current era in terms of the profile of Communication Science Study Programme graduates. The workshop was divided into two sessions: the morning session, which was the presentation of workshop materials by the guest speaker, and the afternoon session, which involved evaluating the program curriculum and preparing for the opening of the international classes.
Hopefully, this workshop will serve as a stepping stone towards the upcoming international course offered by the Communication Science Study Programme. Acquiring the international class is a response to the challenge posed by the AQAS accreditation that the Communication Science Study Programme had previously obtained. With this workshop, may the Communication Science Study Programme aims to continue its progress and inspire future endeavors! (Ed)
