The Department of Arts and Sports Hima Ilkom Nadi Karya Cabinet 2026 held a new program called “Ini Bukan Konser”. They presented the event on May 22, 2026 at the Padjadjaran University campus. This program accommodates the performance of works as well as a playground for student rhythms. However, the heavy rain that hit the Plaza of the Faculty of Communication Sciences made the implementation of this event a complete failure. As the Event Staff, Jason Marcellius, and the performer, Theo Hazel, regretted the bad weather. They admitted that the rains destroyed all of the committee’s best plans.
Initially, Jason welcomed the presence of this student performance activity arena. Students can express their artwork and music freely. Jason is also happy because he trusts his friend as the leader of the project. However, this new Hima Ilkom program leaves obstacles for Jason. He had to compile the rundown sheets for the first time. Tasks outside the event division were also forced to be carried out by Jason during the preparation Meanwhile, Theo Hazel as the drummer of Renjana shared the story of his band. Renjana has never had the opportunity to perform on the Unpad campus. Therefore, they took advantage of this event to show their teeth. Regular training every week fosters the confidence of all personnel. Theo feels very ready to rock the stage of This Is Not a Concert 2026.
Unfortunately, he assessed that the IBUK committee built poor communication. Misunderstandings between the committees before the D-day triggered the communication problem. Ahead of the event, cloudy skies worried the committee and the performers. The heavy rain of Plaza Fikom immediately destroyed their energy and motivation. Jason and Theo expressed deep disappointment over the weather disaster. This failure is used as a valuable lesson in launching the future art arena. They are committed to preparing a backup plan for the next activity. Now, the entire committee is evaluating the total post-event risk management. This valuable experience matured their organization’s work mentality.
