The Communication Science Study Programme has long been one of the most sought-after programs by prospective students in Indonesia. In 2023, the competition to enter this program became even fiercer in the Test-Based National Selection (SNBT). With 2,533 applicants and only 36 available seats, Communication Science ranks as the second most competitive program after Informatics Engineering.
This level of competition indicates that only about 1.42% of the total applicants succeeded in securing a seat in the Communication Science Study Programme. In other words, out of every 100 applicants, only 1 to 2 managed to pass the selection process. The high interest in this programme can be attributed to various factors, including the broad and diverse career prospects it offers.
Meanwhile, in the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) admission pathway, the number of applicants in 2023 reached 1,643 with a capacity of 24 seats.
In facing this intense competition, prospective students must prepare themselves thoroughly and strategically. Thus, those who manage to gain admission to this programme have not only passed a stringent selection process but have also proven themselves to be outstanding individuals ready to face future challenges and opportunities.
