On August 13, 2026, the Communication Studies Study Program held an Introduction to Study Programs and Initial Guardianship activities for new students at the Auditorium of the Fikom Unpad Postgraduate Building. This activity is part of a series of welcoming new students as well as a momentum for students to get to know the academic environment, learning systems, and various opportunities that they can take advantage of while studying in the Communication Studies Study Program.
The activity began with remarks from the Head of the Communication Science Study Program, Dr. Andika Vinianto Adiputra, S.Sos., M.A, which was then continued with the introduction of the study program. In the session, new students were introduced to the motto of the Communication Studies Study Program, various cooperation partners, and lecturers. New students are also invited to get to know the academic and professional experiences of alumni through the screening of alumni testimonial videos.
The series of activities was then continued with the first guardianship with their respective guardian lecturers. Through this session, students get initial direction related to the academic process and lectures that will be carried out in the future. With this activity, it is hoped that new students will be better prepared to adapt to the lecture environment and start their academic journey at the Communication Science Study Program, Padjadjaran University.
